Possible new tundra owner
Hi guys, my name is Bradley, i have been frequenting the site for a while, you all have a lot of good info in here. i am currently looking at a 08 DC Tundra base 5.7 4x4 since the truck market is down at the moment they offered it too me for $300 below invoice. so before i jump off the deep end i figured i would get as much research as possible on these things. i am getting it to replace my 93 Ford 250 diesel, its wore out w/ 278k miles on it. i pull trailers a good bit but nothing too heavy, so i think the tow rating of the tundra would fit me good.

Welcome to the site! Anything particular you would like to know? Did you test drive a tundra yet?

actually yes i have gone for a test drive, i filled out all the paperwork last nite for the 0% financing, so i am waiting for a call this morning to see whether i qualify for it or not. hopefully i do! i really dont have any specific questions. i plan on putting a gooseneck hitch on my DC and a Tekonsha brake controller, and maybe doing the charcoal filter mod. besides that probably leave it stock for warranty reasons. (at this time anyway
) thats why i am keeping my 98 tacoma to play withLast edited by bradrob82 : 06-26-2008 at 06:48 AM. |

Well, i finally figured how to take a camera phone pic and get it up here, am still working on borrowing a digital camera to post better ones, but here is one just to show you. Since i purchase the truck i installed a draw tite/ reese gooseneck hitch and a prodigy brake controller where the ash tray used to be. pulls trailer nicely!!
