From Tacoma to Tundra

Well, on friday I sold my 1999 Toyota Tacoma Extended cam SR5 TRD 4x4 v6, 5 speed manual with 128K miles back to Toyota for $14947.50 for a problem with rust holes in my frame.

Monday I will be picking up my 2002 Toyota Tundra 4x4 with 66K Miles for $14750.

Its a very nice truck and I am so excited. Its completely loaded with extended cab and has the TRD package, leather seats, power drivers seat and all the other standard bells and whistles.

Also with the new tundra i will be able to put a baby seat in the back seat if needed.

Great deal! First gen Tundras are bomb proof! The 4.7 V8 is powerful and dependable, best of all at 66k miles it's just barely broken in!! Congrats and welcome to the forum! Oh and My first Tundra was a 2000 I bought brand spankin new in 1999 and I got 180,000 trouble free miles out of it!

thats awesome to hear...
After owning my tacoma that i bought used in 2001.. I realized how great toyotas are. I bought my woman a used 2007 camry 2 weeks ago.

When I get my tundra monday I'll post some pics.... I plan on driving it till the wheels fall off. I am going to shoot for 200K miles out of both vehicles.

I think one of the first things I am going to do to my truck is maybe get one of those bed extenders.
I ride dirt bikes and quads and I always wish i had one on my tacoma

Dohhhhhhhhh! When I sold the 2000 the chick that bought it forgot to take the bed extender and I didn't have a way to contact her to give it to her. Just last week I gave it to this dude that works at Auto Zone by my house. Ahhh! I traded in a 1998 fully loaded Tacoma 4wd SR5 for the 2000 Tundra. I changed my oil every 3000 miles and checked the fluids regularly. You'll reach 200k miles with that thing fore sure! Any questions about it just PM me. Here she is!
