Hello from El Paso, TX!

I have owned my 5.7 Crew Max for a few months now and have been a constant visitor to this site for a while! Great info.

A question, can the speed governor be disabled or removed?

First post and already trying to abuse the knowledge of the regulars.

Thanks for any info!

Just a guess .

Thanks for the welcome and the guess. I think something can be done. I just don't like getting ahead most of the way just to be passed after 110!

The speed limiter is tied to the speed rating of the tires that came on your truck as a safety measure. The ECU is not re-program friendly. We're all waiting on a programmer that will let us get past the factory settings, but to my knowledge nothing is currently available.

Thank you all for the welcome!

I am not very technologically advanced and it will probably take me a few days straight to figure out how to load a pic, but I'll try.
