New tundra owner.
Bought a 2008 Toyota Tundra Crewmax yesterday. I have been driving it all day and it's probably the best truck I have ever driven. We also have a 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 in the house and it does not compare anywhere near the Tundra. They are both about the same price but the Tundra has a refined engine, better interior, and roomier. The powertrain is different between Toyota and Chevy. The Silverado feels like a slow scooter from the 80s while the Tundra feels like a motocross bike. Even though I am not going to be racing either one, it's just the response you get when you press on the gas pedal.
