New Sr5

Hey all,
New to the site and a new Tundra owner as of two weeks ago. So far I really dig this truck. I have been a Toyota P/U owner since 1996, a Taco, and finally decided it was time to "go big". My baby is a 08 SR5, Crew Max in Slate Metallic. Right now it is in the shop getting a 3" Toytec to add a lil clearance for some 20s. I'll post pics ASAP. Only mods so far are: Rhino liner, Nerf bars, duals behind a Flowmaster 40 series, billet grill, Weathertech mats and air deflectors, the lift and some BMF Novakane 5s(death metal black). I think that is all I will do for now...wallet is takin' a beatin' HAHA. The only other things I'm lookin' at are a Volant CAI and possibly an N-Fab light bar. Well thats about it.

Sounds great bro! Can't wait to see it, just make sure you enter it in the next "truck of the month" contest. Welcome to the site!

Thanks to all for the welcome.
Jtruck HECK YES KY WILDCATS HUGE FAN. I am from the west end of the state near IL, just a lil displaced by Uncle Sam right now.
Ramoine thanks for the pics of the toytec. Do you like it? How is it holding up? Still ride good, like OEM? I have only had mine on for about 8 hours and less than 50 miles on it.
Mickey I have been a lurker and see the battle of the CMers and DCers...dont worry we will prevail. LOL I really had a time decided bewteen the extra cab or extra bed space, either way I love mine.
DEZ dont worry you ride is still sic. I dig the N-FAB pre-runner. I want on e BAD.

Thanks again, hopefully I can get some pics loaded tomorrow after I finish installing the lower grill insert and get my 20s put on. Thanks again for the welcome. OUT

Hi there .Im from Ft.Worth Tx and i had a bad experience on this tuesday.I went to buy a tundra crewmax red with black interior 4x4 SR5 withall the goodies, wich is very rare the dealer is telling me that they found a truck like the one I wanted but is different state and they going to send someone to DRIVET to their dealershipwich I was not impressed with this option but I couldn`t do nothing about it.Two days later I call the dealer and they say that my truck was WREKED by the driver when he got out from the other dealership right in front of them.I was mad like is no tomorrow you guys can imagine. They tell me that they couldn`t find another truck like this and that I can kiss my A good Bye.Now I`m on the lookout for another truck what do u think about this. Please reply.they found 1 finally with a lift kit on it but they want me to pay 4600$ extra for the lift but i know that I can get a 3" lift and four rims and tires for a lot chiper than that. The dealer do not want to give me any discount on that Tundra for the situation that they created in the first place. Post some INFO on what should I do. ??

Thank You beforehand. some of you have some cool toys

The lift still rides like the factory setup , I have done some light off-roading and no problems so far !

4600.00 extra sounds way too much for a truck with a lift . I' d keep looking , your truck is out there somewhere.
I also would find another dealer , you should be able to get a good deal right now , and there are plenty of dealers in texas .

Good Luck , Bill .
