Smile switching from ford..

currently driving a 2002 f150 supercharged but my new job calls up for a work truck so i've been looking into getting a new tundra.. figured i would do as much research as possible before i pull the trigger.

here's a question or two....

lift kits... any big known problems or issues? looking to get about 6" of lift (i'm in the backwoods... something stock height just don't cut it)

what about programmers?
i know with my F150, i had ALOT of choices.. but haven't heard much about the yota's...

thanks guys

There are a few on here that have a 6" lift and hopefully they will give you their 2 cents , in the meantime Welcome to the forum and if you got questions about the Tundra you're in the right place .

Bump for those with lifts .

My lift is different but from what I've been reading and seeing there haven't been any problems with the ProComp 6" stage one or two lifts. Actually one minor issue is the back of the truck sometimes sits a tad lower on some trucks so ProComp fixes that by adding a small block or shim.

no issues here with the lift .. does sag a little in the rear but i actually like it .. i hear fabtech just released a stage 1 type lift as well

no programmers out yet .. there are a few companies working on it .. but we're all waiting desperately

Welcome! A TRD supercharger is supposed to be on the way in late Summer. I have a 6" Procomp stage 2 with 35s and 20s and it rides as good as stock. Not alot of engine upgrades yet...but its a matter of time Your stock tundra will put out around what your supercharged f150 does

DEZ - How should I go about getting that small block and who will pay to have it installed?

even more power than that

"stock" titans run even with supercharged F-150's .. and we know what the tundras do to titans

Welcome to the site and when you make your decision no matter what it is enjoy it. If you pull the trigger on a Tundra we would like to see the pics before and after your lift kit put in. I don't have a lift kit but that's not my trip. But I do like looking at them. I travel alot in my truck.
