New Member, year old Crewmax
I've had my 07 Crewmax for almost a year. I've been on other forums for a while and thought I would try another one to get some new ideas. I've done a handful of mods to the truck, almost all on my own. Maybe I can give you all some new ideas as well.
Here's a brief list of my mods for those interested: nerf bars, seatbelt chime, Truxedo tonneau, radar detector power, fog lights, black billet grille, rear differential breather, parking sensors, Line-X, tailgate lock, hood safety latch mod, one off driving lights behind grille, Pioneer NAV w/ OEM camera, Flowmaster 50 SUV dual/dual, blue LED dash lights And a couple of pictures if I can post them without any previous posts. These are some of my favorite DIY installs on my truck. Driving Lights in the fog light blanks and Hella Ralleye 4000s mounted being Carriage Works Billet Grill: ![]() ![]() Blue LEDs swapped in the dash and all buttons: ![]() ![]() Tailgate lock: ![]() Last edited by Toxarch : 04-15-2008 at 04:37 AM. |

At first I pulled the springs from the seatbelt receivers and that worked for a while. Unfortunately, you have to reset the passenger one about every third time that seat is used. Then I found out my dealer was finally turning them off. Some trucks will only allow the passenger seat to be turned off, others allowed both seats to be turned off. Unfortunately, mine only allowed for the passenger seat to be turned off. Guess that is better than nothing.

Dash LED Swap - Goodbye Amber... - Toyota Tundra Forum The A/C control was easy to do. The dash was a little harder to do. The buttons in the blanks were the hardest to do. Hope you have some soldering experience before you do the buttons. |
