Depends on what you mean by 'large enough'? You will feel somewhat sluggish compared to your 2003 from extra weight of 2nd gen. Is it adequate? Yes. But be aware that there are more people regretting their decision to get a 4.6 than people regretting their decision to get a 5.7 (good luck finding one who complains about 5.7).
Yes, I would preferred the the 5.7L but I made such a deal on the 4.6L V8 I plan to have until it dies. I drove them both the difference was minimal to me?
