To be honest, I drove it home and put it in the shop as the roads are salted here. I'm still reading thru the 700 page manual! Has more bells and whistles than my '03 GMC for sure. Bluetooth, traction control, etc.
Wanting to get accessories put in while it's in the shop also.
With two teenage kids, the rear seating and storage of the truck were big selling points. The storage areas in the console are huge. Friend who trades every two years, when I asked WTH did you buy a Tundra: "I really think it's the best 1/2 ton truck out there. Which got me to looking. Nobody seems to badmouth the Tundra.
I'm a Ford stockholder (upside down since 9-11-01), but not impressed with their trucks. Dodge not on the radar. Really like the looks of GM, but again can't throw money into the whole bankrupt, bailout, business as usual route.

PROPANE conversion! Cool!
Mine is sitting in the garage. Waiting for a rain to rinse the salt off the roads, and get a few accessories ordered and installed.

My GMC is a 2500 Diesel. It has 200K miles and is going strong. I intend to keep it for heavy work and trailering. I can't complain. Didn't want to buy another diesel with the "exhaust fluid", experimental, appease the EPA configuration. So I bought what I think is the best 1/2 ton out there.

I always liked fords own a few old ones, like the company so I bought a brand new Ford FX4 f150 in 2010, was not impressed with the truck at all, traded it in on my 2500 HD Chevy, I built it up like i wanted, and love it, 6.0 gas, runs awesome. Just bored with it, and ready to modify another new one and I just can't ignore the Tundra. I gotta get me one for my next project. I have been a member since today and already want one bad. I do love my heavy Chevy but as soon as I can find her a new home I'm gonna go get me a Tundra and have me some fun with it. And it's cool to see a couple GM guys posting in here.
