Hey man, first off sick ass truck. It's comin' along nice. Been doin a lot of lookin around on the lift kits and what i want to do. I first off thought about the fabtech but after reading up on all your posts I'm leaning more towards the BDS w/ Icons. But the price diff between the two is ugh difficult ha. Just wondering for just the lift and icons how much did you end up paying?? If you don't mind me asking. I'm debating on the icons or just going with the supplied fox coilovers that they offer. Thanks for your time, again badass truck

It's VHT Nite-Shades (3 light coats) and Dupli-Color clear. Both poof-can products that you can purchase at any good auto supply store.
If you search the threads on TT you'll find plenty of people that have done it (and show you how). There's also some good youtube videos showing how to use nite-shades.

Hey steve love the truck. Did you paint your own tail lights or get it done some where? It looks sharp thinking about doing the same thing.

Your dealer won't even know it's installed. It goes behind your instrument gauge... inline... plugs right into the harness that plugs into your dash. They won't see it physically or in their diagnostics. It doesn't hurt the truck in any way. It corrects the shift points and speed. Install it and don't tell them.

Hey Tim... This will probably answer your questions regarding exposed threads on the icons... http://www.tundratalk.net/forums/tun...-answered.html

    The piggybacks are awesome.

I considered doing a leveling spacer above the shocks too... but, I ended up not needing them. I did replace the leaf spring shackles (adding 1 inch to the rear). I don't like the Cali look with the sagging butt.

Hey Steve you really have a beautiful truck. I too have the 7" BDS and I just picked up the icon coilovers. I was hoping that you could tell me how much you had to crank the coilover up to fit the lift. I'm planing on putting on a leveling spacer on mine so that I won't have to crank it at all. How is the ride with the icon piggybacks on the rear. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. TIM

HEy bud. Your truck looks amazing. A few questions if you don't mind? How is the lift so far. BDS? Is everything still ok? Your truck really only sits at about 82.5" tall? Does it still fit in a 7 foot garage? I have 35" toyo muds on a icon 3-4 inch lift now and i think my truck sits aorund 81" tall. Any help would be great. I want to pull the trigger but hoping it will still fit in my 7 foot garage door opening.

    Thanks Brian
