Hello sir....I am new to the blog and also new to truck ownership. I have a 2016 CM Platinum and I like the off-road look. I really need some advice on how to set-up my truck, maintain the warranty, and save money.

I would like to run a 20x9 rim with a 35x12.5 tire. The dealership I purchased the truck from informed me that they use the ReadyLift 69-5475 on the trucks they do in house for sell. I was looking at the Fabtech K7050M. I'm not sure which kit would be the best for me. I don't plan on doing any off-roading and basically would just like the look. Besides the kit do I need new shocks or shims(whatever this is)? I just want to buy all the parts myself(save money) and then have a reputable company install it.

If you can provide any information for me I would be truly appreciative!!

I just bought a '17 tundra crewmax 4x4 5.7 and was looking at your systems and like the budget dump system. What system do you recommend and what length do you recommend. I love the sound of it in your video and like that when cruising its not overbearing. I have 2 young kids that would be in the truck from time to time so don't want them to be fumed out. It is legal in california correct. If I order about how long until i would receive it. Thank you

Thanks for all your posts man! Think I will drive out to Econdido sometime in the Spring and spend way too much money on some upgrades. I want more power!

Hey brother! Been meaning to chat with you about the BD performance. I've reinstalled my 50 shot dry setup and I'm gonna weld the bung for my wideband O2 and AFR meter in the next couple weeks. I really can feel the difference every time I drive the truck. I'd like to get it on the dyno to see what kind of power I'm making before I actually fill the bottle and squeeze the trigger.
    Two things about the BD.
    1) I chose performance shifts. It shifts a little better than stock when under load, but chatters about 40% of the time on light load shifts. I'm gonna go back to the stock shift.
    2) I sometimes bounce off the rev limiter between 1st & 2nd gear. I definitely don't wanna do that when I spray. Is this a common issue with the BD software? I wanted to get your opinion before contacting BD.
Thanks a million, buddy. Aside from those two quirks, I'm happy with the power increase.

    Good Afternoon Keith,

Micah Bero from TRD Sparks recommended I talk to you as you understand Toyota exhaust very well. I have a 2010 FFV, 5.7l with a TRD supercharger and unichip piggyback chip. After I installed DT LT headers, I started running P0172 and P0175 codes regularly. The front cats were moved down to accommodate the header length and the second cats were removed. The first O2 sensor was reinstalled in the fixture on the header, and the second remained in the stock position after the first cat. I had the MAF sensor replaced, fuel pressure checked out fine, the truck isn't running in E85 mode, alcohol density is 0.0%, fuel trims are high on both banks as well. Yaw sensor was reset, and I even tried a URD O2 sensor sim to no avail. Jack from Unichip thought that because of the positioning of the O2 sensors had changed, it was throwing off their reading. Rumors of a 07-11 FFV S/C tundras by bullydog might fix the issues as well. Any advice is appreciated.

    Good afternoon,

I had a couple questions regarding a set of Fox 2.0 Front Coilovers I picked up for my 2016 TSS 4x4 CM 5.7L. Are they preset from the factory and can I use 1 Coachbuilder shim on each coil to gain 2.5" of front end lift?

If so, do I need to drop the differential or is that only necessary with 3" and up.

Also, can I fit 33"x12.5x20's with this set up?

    Thanks RK

Thanks for the response, Keith! I completely understand about the delay - no worries! I ended up finding a good shop in Fort Worth, TX (All-out Off-Road) through the recommendation of another TT member. Got it all taken care of. Great suggestions though! I need to get more involved with off-road events around my neck of the woods.

Also, planning on ordering some BA Mufflers in 2017...so please stick around, haha.

    Cheers!

    Good Sir,

I was told by Jaj23 to contact you regarding exhaust. I was wondering what opinions and advice you can help with and possible pricing? I am looking to change the sound of my Tundra. I am not looking for expensive. I did a cat back exhaust on my tacoma. It sounded great but for what I paid for, I didnt think it was worth it. So I was wondering if just changing out the muffler and tip could help change the tune of my baby. I dont need anything ridiculous, just soemthing slightly deeper and more throaty. Just enough to turn some heads.

Any help would be great, Thanks!

My name is Scott by the way. Live in Phoenix. Have a 2015 Tundra crew max.
