So I just bought a 2002 4wd tundra a few months ago. It has 65k and runs good. I have no maintenance records so where do I start. I already got an oil change and rotated tires.... should I do cooland, check dif's, any other fluids? What' about plugs, wires, etc???
Exactly what Hicklebunny said. I would add drain and refill on the transmission and do the spark plugs. I used NGK iridiums on mine and was really happy. There are no spark plug wires as the coils are on each of the plugs.
I believe that it is 10 years or 90K miles. That 2002 would be way overdue for the timing belt. The rubber degrades over time and for less than $1,000 why risk a low mileage motor.
