Superchargers...

I'm talking supercharger, not a turbo.

Has anyone put one on a 4.7? Which brand/model? Results?

Used to run a blower on a 1969 HEMI Roadrunner...it was the balls. Thinking about one for my '05.

All opinions appreciated.

Cheers,

Bob

i honestly don't think that they make a bolt on for the 05's and V-8's I know that they make them for the 00-03 V-6's so good luck on finding one and I'll keep an eye out for you!

Is there a reason you don't like turbo? I have not hear any 1st gen tundra having them.

They make TRD a supercharger for the 4.7L. My buddy has one on his 4.7L Sequoia. Though finding one is a pain in the a$$, a TRD certified Toyota dealer can order it. I have the information in my TRD catalog at home… I will post the part numbers and information later on tonight. I think the guy told me the cost is in the neighborhood of about 2.5 to 3k. That is dealer price though, I’m sure you can find it cheaper on the web.

TRD did make one for the 4.7s at one point but they don't anymore! So your Toyota dealer won't be able to get one for you....You will have to find one online and do then install yourself!
