uni chip makes a programer. jet chip can upgrade your factory computer if you remove it and mail it to them.

I've talked to several different performance tuning shops. They have all said that several chips are in the works, and that a couple of them have performance chips scheduled to come out within the last 2 months.

I have unichip and I had to say it was worth my money...what a difference. The good thing about the unichip is that it piggy back onto the computer so if I need to restore my truck back to factory spec, I'd simply unplug the unchip module.

That's what I was wondering as well. How much was the Unichip? What difference did you notice low end or high end difference? How was the install easy or hard?

The unichip will run you back around $800 +/-. What I have noticed on my truck is that when I WOT, the truck will shifts at a higher RPM. It is well worth the money that I put in.

Installation is very simple, the installation instructions is easy to read. I was done in 45 minutes. It was so quick that I thought, I'd miss some steps, so I had to double check myself.
