Wow,, thats all i can say. My boss has a 2006 DC, i have driven it many times. Yes, the more power the better. But in everday driveability, not my idea of better. I guess i am fond of the old "less is more". Bigger and more powerful does not always mean thats "better". Let me guess, you guys are huge nascar fans and like things that go fast in a straight line? ![]() |

Hello, Nice Truck, I Have One Just Like It, Can You Tell Me What Kind Of Gas Mileage You Get. That's The Biggest Complaint I Have About My Truck. I Got 15.6 Mpg Saturday 80% Hwy Driving. Just Trying To Get Better Mileage. Wonder If They Make A Tunner For These Trucks?? No One Seems To Know. Brad

Holy crap!! Opinions are like assholes.....everyone has one. If the guy likes his smaller truck then sobeit...it works better for him. Personally I have/like the bigger truck because I pull heavy trailers, it does off road just fine for me and hauls people while doing it plus it is fast. So all in all this is a pretty well rounded truck IMO. I prefer the new Tundra vs the old. BTW...Not a huge Nascar fan but I do like the fast straight line cars. This is all just my opinion though.

If all I could get was a little excuse for a pick-up... I would be proud of it too.. Thank you Toyota for saving me from my life of Rams, and F150's. I no longer have to swap back and forth between trucks that were O.K. Who buys little trucks. You have a camry too dont ya?

As I see it it's all a matter of what a guy needs. Me I love the size of the first gen's. I have a 95 T100, simular size, with the 3.4 V6 that has been hands down the best truck ever for me. 255000 and still going strong. If the Tundra is half the truck I'll be happy. Other Toys I have owned.
1982 4X4 SR5 Long bed 22R 146000 miles. Went to the 89. 1989 4X4 ext cab SR5 22RE 165000 miles Went to a chevy. Not for long!!1995 4X4 T100 ext cab SR5 3.4 V6 255000 still own. For sale. 1997 4X4 Tachoma ext cab DX 2.7 4 banger. 85000 Moved to the T100 for the V6. 2000 4x4 Tundra ext cab Limited 4.7 120000. Drove the T100 for 9 years. It was time for a change. |
