Cool Done did it

I did it! Hardest part was waiting for the paint to dry. I used Wrinkle Plus paint to give it a cool texture. Thanks to everyone for the comments, tips and advice. Now it's time to smoke the tail lights.

The regular bhlm itself is nothing illegal. The lights are still 100% dot and good to go. If you alter the actual lighting such as adding hid's then it is not legal and depending on which state you're in will not pass inspection. Hawaii is very strict and even if your vehicle comes with hid's and you put after market hid's they will not pass safety inspection.

BHLM Do it yourself or I will...!

Did mine last weekend, and the came out great! The only thing that scared me was putting them in the oven. I used a wood tray to set them on, and worked great. No moisture in them after a week by the beach.....I'd say it was a success. Thanks for the post and giving me the confidence to do it. Best $20 spent on my Tundra!!ImageUploadedByAutoGuide1362249210.109519.jpg

BIG difference! looks damn good bro! It would look even better with some halos on the heads and driving lights though.

Haha one thing at time! I've only had this truck a few months. It's coming along nicely though. And to anyone thinking about doing it go for it! It's easier than you would think. Just take your time with it.
