I thought about it but I am not sure as I kinda like how it "sorta" blends in with the windows "all black".. But we will see. I never did remove the pillar tape and not sure how much of a PITA it might be. We will see, maybe in the future, I'll have to see a white tundra with it removed. Nice rig by the way.

Thanks, Its a work in progress though.. I might never be happy with it at this rate..

Either way you go your truck looks Awesome.

White is one of the few colors (lack of color?) that looks good with the tape..

I still like this Tundra though, It needs debadged though!

I agree. Not sure I like the white without it. Was thinking of redoing mine with gloss black to blend better though being I have to redo it anyways as it got all scratched up.

Anyone have experience with the AES Industries 4" Smart Eraser Pad with Drill Adaptor Arbor [Made In USA]? it's only about $13 on Amazon vs the 3M Stripe Eraser which is $27. Seems like they are the same thing from different manufacturers.

I would ask the question. How much is your paint worth to you. An amazon product or 3m. Not bashing the other. Just saying. If you give it a shot lets us know

OK, so I completed the debadging process and decided it would be helpful for everyone to see how easy it is. I was a bit nervous at first since it was my first time. My biggest concern was the removal of the adhesive. Due to the excellent advice from folks on this post (and others) to go with the 3M stripe removal wheel, it was soooo easy. I debadged my truck in less than an hour and didn't even break a sweat. Check out the attached videos and pics. those of you that are concerned with the Iforce adhesive...there is a video that shows it comes off with no problem. hope this helps those on the fence.

NOTE: Not sure why they display as PICs but the first and last attachments are VIDEOS....

Ok, so this may be a dumb question, but please bare with me. I'm debating on whether to debadge or plasti dip my badges black. (I have a white tundra) I don't like the looks/location of the tundra badges on the front doors. If i pull these off, but later want to put them back on, what kind of adhesive/glue do i use?

Can the 3m tape be removed in the same manner as the rest of the badges?
