Dipping side panels

Ive seen a few pics of guys dipping their hoods with some positive reactions. I have my front and rear bumper done...i was wondering what it would look like to have the lower part of the doors dipped to match the bumpers. Ive seen trucks with the chrome along the bottom of the doors but how would plasti dip look? Has anyone done this? I guess last resort...I just do it and if I dont like it, I can peel it off. Just figured Id ask before I go nuts on my truck. THANKS!

If it works, it might make some of the wrap shops be a little more reasonable with their quotes. Sheesh.
Attention environmentalists, reduce emissions from this:

<---in to see pics if you do this.

I was "thinking" about linex for the bumper following the lower lines of the truck back to and including the rear bumper.

I think if you have your front and rear bumper done it might look pretty cool. You can always do it, post pics, and if you decide you don't like it peel it off. And in the meantime it will protect you from getting chips in your paint!
