All finished .. love the outcome. Looks awesome .. better than expected .. all chrome is now gone except the tundra emblems on my wheels, my lugs and my front emblem on my grille. I tried it black and it just washed out my grille and it Looked cheap. uploadfromtaptalk1337647981651.jpg

I took some advice from Bad Dad. He said use liberally ... I use way more on everything than I should. I do Three thick coats and I used almost 1 full can. Turned out awesome. I lost day light but I'm ready to see it tomorrow morning.
O yea. I had already done my plastic bumper cover about 2-3 weeks ago. And I used like half a can on that maybe.. .. didn't take much to cover it evenly.

I'm thinking of doing my back bumper as well. Did you tape off your tailgate to keep overspray off of it? What was your process? I'm getting a can tomorrow, and putting this on my "to do" list.
This is an easy job, taped with newspaper to cover a bigger area. Did front and rear bumper. The thicker coat the better in terms of rocks hitting. You can touch up any tears easy. I use a pressure washer to clean, and have had no issues. The hardest thing to get off is bugs, I get them wet and soak for a few and they come off easier.
Some say plasti dip looks cheap, I think it looks great! And it is reversible! Used 4 cans to do both bumpers.
