Car Wash + Plasti-dip = ???

Has anyone put their truck though the car wash test?

I have plasti-dipped my the following parts this past weekend.
grille
grille surround
wheels
lower valance
and bumper cover
Since it is pollen season, bug season and I live in the east Texas sand my truck get pretty dirty.

I have a bunch of car washes to choose from in my area from high pressure wand washes to drive though neutral and wash shops. I am wondering what others had experienced.

I am afraid to test them out without input and ruin my amazing craftsmanship lol....

Awesome NJ.. have you tried one of the drive thru types taht you put in neutral adn it pushes you along and has the long shimmys that hang down/ toss back and forth?
I know im asking for it.. but i am wondering. It is the best car wash around.. It actually cleans great in one drive through...

Yup, I went through that and also the self wash type with the pressure washer and soap brush. Everything held up just fine.

Will plasti-dip stick to the stock chrome grille surround, or does it need to be prepped?

No prep needed. Just give it a real good cleaning and get ALL the bugs off. Spray 3-4 really thick coats. I didn't scuff or anything and it is still holding strong.

Absolutely. I used a industrial glass cleaner.. Got it nice and shiny. Let it dry completely and then started spraying.
