My two goldens go everywhere with me. They shed mountains of hair. I will try the wet hand trick - I use tape, lint brushes, rollers, vacuum, and a hair brush. Takes forever, but clean, the black interior looks great. covered in golden hair? Not so much!

There is a new dog hair picker upper that works pretty good. It's a rubber brush that creates static to pick up the dog hair. You can also wet it with water and it helps pick up the hair. Not sure where to get one as my mom gave me one for X-mas last year since my dog sheds and I was whinning about it. I would have to assume you could get one at PetCo or a place like that.

When i worked recon at a car dealer we used razor blades to get hair out. Thats if it was in the seat first just use a latex glove and rub out what you can. Sometimes the glove gets it all but it depends on the hair. No one thing will work for all breeds...............Its a pain in the ass!!! and takes forever but it works good

get some upholstery cleaner, scrubb it around a little then get the shop vac, it should spool it all together as well as lift some out

I use to let my Labrador Retrievers ride in the cab of my 2005 Tundra with me. I never know just how much of a mess it made until I traded my truck last week. I took the custom fit seat covers off and still had a ton of hair under the covers in the crease of the seat. Now, with my new truck they will only ride in the bed of the truck inside of the carrier. It's the only solution I can come up with and the easiest.

Frigin' Hillarious. Would definitely get rid of the dog hair as well as any gratuitous sex from the wife

Thanks for the replies ahead of time.

Mick
1. Put dogs in a crate, put them in the back of the truck completely away from the seats so that any loose hair won't be landing in the cab of the truck.

2. Shave the dogs so they don't have any hair to shed.

3. Buy dogs that don't shed.

4. Buy a stuffed dog.

LOL.

Truthfully I've never seen anything that will completely remove pet hair. Even the best vacuum can't get hair that's stuck in carpet and upholstery.

That's the main reason I have a shell. Dog-holes go in the back on Rhino liner. I don't even have to smell 'em, let alone cleanup after a trip to the beach with 3 big ones. If he's clean and dry, the creampuff AmStaff rides in the back of the reg cab. 'Has his blanket and memory foam, prefers to snooze...unless we're cruisin for bitches. Then he rides shotgun and hairs-up my wife's seat. 'Got dog hair everywhere else...whynot the truck?

My Golden Retriver sheds like there is no tomorrow. I gave up long ago on keeping my vehicles free of dog hair. It's extra padding; besides, it looks good on my gray and black Corrections Officer uniform.

You have a malamute. I love those dogs, and the Siberian Huskies also. I did have an Alaskan Klee Kai for a while. Seems as though these dogs are constantly shedding though. I let my Malamute in my jeep once, and then spent a week removing dog fur. Even my shop-vac wouldn't get it all. I finally had to shampoo the carpets which broke all the fur loose.

I have a Chocolate Lab. Even though I use a seat cover when she's in the truck, the fur gets all over. I just pull up to my garage and use the air compressor to hose it out. Leave both rear doors open, hose front to rear, and the 135 PSI really makes a difference.

no dogs here. Don't really have the time to have one. I just can't imagine having a dog inside the cab. My black seats already get enough particles stick to them.

I have gray leather interior and white dogs. I take everything out of the truck and open all four doors. Use an air hose or leaf blower and blow out all loose hair off dash and seats out the other side of the truck. Then I'll vacum up what I can. Then I'll use one of the rubber brushes that's meant to comb loose hair from the dog, on the carpet. It'll pull a lot of the hair up out of the carpet, then vacum again. Then use box tape to get most of what's left.
