I drove my truck into town yesterday and it needed a scrubbin' LOL
I went for the fast and easy pressure wash deal just to knock off the dust and light dirt, at the end I noticed a 'spot free rinse' it was low water pressure and it took all of 2 mins. but it was soft water and it did a nice job!
I will continue to wash my truck at home (with my water boss softener) but the 'spot free' option was nice to have, just cost me a couple quarters extra at the car wash.

to be honest with you guys, i hate washing my car. first of all im not that tall, so me in the truck bed trying to scrub the roof is laughable. i have discovered that if you just use one of these every day then you wont need a carwash as much as you think.

your car gets dirty when the DUST on your car gets glued to it by moisture. if you just rub it with this thing everyday when you get home, the dust will never stick. You will only need a carwash once every two weeks. That way, its worth paying 10 bucks to have someone else wash it for you at the carwash. I have a black truck so trust me, seeing it dirty is extremely frustrating, but that red mop thing works magic. Just dont do it when your car is hot, because the red fibers have a kind of wax on them that catches the dust. A hot car makes the wax melt and it puts streaks on the car. After sundown or in the morning is the best time.

The thing costs around 20 bucks. 2 car washes a month = another 20 bucks. Now compare how much you spend on Mr. Clean filters, Suds, and Water, and elbow grease. Red Car Duster Forever!

Amazon.com: The Original California Car Duster: Automotive

20 bucks on amazon.

First - thanks for the updated logo...sharp. I bought a cali duster for the interior and the exterior. I LOVE THEM however, I read on here that after a while the wax will attract enough sediment, that you can not see, that will scratch your clear coat leaving what looks like swirl marks. This was just one persons experience but out of fear of scratching I stopped using mine on the exterior. Have you heard that or had any experience with marks?

Thanks

The water is so bad here, The sprinkler sprayed on the windows and windshield on my old toyota, and we couldnt scrub it off, I had to go out there with a razor blade. And the filters for the mr clean that are supposed to turn turn brown after 10 uses, turn brown after the first use, Im gonna have to go to the next town meeting and file a complaint, tough on skin too. I think I will just have to resort to the car wash
