I've been using the ICE line since June when I purchased my CM. I really like the stuff. I prefer the paste as well. It's really not too hard to remove. Let it dry to a light haze and buff it out - by hand. Some will say the ICE wax is not as good or does not provide as deep a shine. However, I like it! The best part is no more of that white residue left behind! You can wax the entire truck - absent window - and it all comes off. I generally like to wax my truck every couple months. However, in Ohio the winters last a little longer so I have to wait longer. This last coat of wax was in November and I am just getting ready to do the Spring clean and I can truly say the water still beads up nicely on the hood. I also use the liquid clay bar, ICE car wash, and detail spray as well. The car wash works really well and the liquid clay bar actually does quite well getting tough water spots, bugs, and small tar spots off the finish. And of course the detail spray keeps it looking nice between washes! I think Turtle Wax has a winner on their hands!

I think paste wax is a must at least 3 or 4 times a year depending on where you live but this Turtel Wax Ice is good stuff for just after the weekly carwash. I bought it and used it today and I really like it. I sprayed it on generously, wiped it dry with one terry cloth rag and buffed it out with another. Works great!

I have a black truck and I washed and waxed my truck with the Ice turtle wax. I seem to have slight swirl marks that I noticed today. What is the reasoning for those to occur? I used the liquid wax with the applicator they supplied and then took it off with a terry cloth. I used to take all my cars to the car wash but not this one.

Not sure bro, Mine turned out perfect. The key for me was to use two trrry cloth rags, one to rub it in after the spray and the completely dry one to buff it up. Do these swirls occure over the entire truck? Did you use brand new terry cloth rags? Hmmmmm...

I used all new terry cloths and an all new applicator. The swirls seem to be all over. You have to get close to see them but they are there. I wonder if it is because they are alot more noticeable because the color of the truck is black.

I think you're going to need to do a paste waxing, that will probably polish out the swirls. Do a spot check and see if that works.

Great stuff... Easy on, no swirls (of course my truck is blue, not black) or white residue. You can use it on black plastic surfaces, chrome, etc. I applied it once a week after I got my truck, have had it 6 months and it's stood up to dozens of car washes and the heavy salted roads, rail, snow and hail here in Utah. It's just now starting to need a new application. Good thing since the weather is now above 20 F.

I have been using liquid ice since last summer and I really surprised at the initial shine it left. I have been using it about once a month and still am impressed with the way it turns out. Easy to apply and easy to take off. I also use the two towel method as the second time around brings up a very nice shine that lasts a long time. We don't get a ton of rain here so I dust it off every couple of days and wash every couple of weeks. Unless it rains of course.
