I actually ordered a grille without the cutout for the emblem but they sent the wrong one and I'm actually glad they did. I kindda like the emblem there.

Its slick thats for sure, have you heard anything about the chrome mirror covers, I got the handles done at the dealer, but the mirrors they wanted 710.00, a little too high for my taste!

What WAX To Use

I Cannot say Enough Good Stuff About The (Non Wax) But It Sure Does Wax It--It Has NO Cleaners To Remove Your Paint But It Will Make It Shine Like You Have Never Seen It Shine Before---The Name Is LIQUID GLASS And I Have Used On All My Cars Since 1955--Yes I Am A Old Fogge--But I Do Know What Works--The More You Apply The Deeper The Shine Gets--Not I Dont Mean At (1) Time--If You Apply 6-8 Coates A Week Apart You Will See What I Mean---

I thought chrome mirror covers were easy to find? I could of sworn I saw some on Ebay. I"m pretty much done adding chrome to my truck, dont wanna over do it. The only chrome I will add now is some on black rims and maybe sidesteps.

well i have the handle covers, so the mirrors would be great, I plan on putting the white grille surround from sparks.

Will a supposed state of the art automated wash system with non scratch, polishing cloth brushes ruin the paint of a 2008 Black Tundra Crew Max?

Haven't used it, so can't say. What I can say is that in 2002 I read a test of 46 car waxes/polishes (Gurureports). Didn't care which one won, I was gonna buy it. Turned out to be Zaino Brothers. By a wide margin. Been using it ever since.

I'd be very scared. The only automated car wash I use is touchless.

Never used ICE, but have been reading a lot of reviews on it. Appears that it's cheap and easy to use and looks decent. Good enough for most people, especially if it's on a truck. (I realize that's probably sacriledge here on a truck forum...but I don't put 1/100th of the effort into keeping my truck spotless as I do my cars.) However, there's no way it'll last like Zainos, or shine as well. Since I hate detailing the Tudra so much, I'd rather just do it once or twice a year instead of every month. Again, I have no stake in the stuff (wish I did). I read a review of 46 waxes/polishes, and it came out #1, so I bought it. If Raindance came out #1, I'd have bought that. In case anyone is interested where *their* wax was listed (ICE wasn't out in 02'), let me know. Couple interesting ones: #2 P21S (a wax...most top ones are synthetic). #8 Mothers CA Gold. Cheap, and easy to find. #40: Zymols Concours Carnauba. $180. Out of 4 expensive Zymols tested, none finished higher than #29. Needless to say, the Zymols people weren't happy with the report.
