You're right it was easy... Will put up pics soon.

I had always kinda wondered if I liked the TUNDRA badges on the front doors. Never really thought I could do anything about it. Till now! Thanks to all the folks here at TT, I am badge free on the front doors as of today. Passenger side took a lot longer than driver side. Driver side was in the sun all day. Fishing line zipped right through the driver side but broke many times on passenger side. I also took off the TOYOTA emblem from the back left tailgate. I'm going to wait on taking off the TUNDRA on the tailgate. It seems to balance the 4X4 emblem on the right hand side.

I tried removing my badges yesterday, starting with the SR5 on the passenger door.

The fishing line worked well, as did the rolling the tape off with a finger. I then used Goo Gone for the remainder of the glue.

The problem I have is there is a distinct edge from the outline of the badge to where you can still read "SR5" pretty well. Am I not using enough Goo Gone or doing something else wrong? I've had the truck two years, so I'm hoping the time the badges have been on there isn't a factor.

Any ideas?

try 3m hand glaze, you can get it at any paint store or auto parts store. It should remove any residue. But be prepaired to do the whole truck and then you will have to reapply any wax as the hand glaze will remove any wax, dirt, swirls, water marks and in general just clean up your paint.

I used a blow-dryer and a plastic putty knife. It worked great! No scratches and took most of the two-sided tape off with little effort.
