My light bar has the back up lights. They work fine and all you have to do is hard wire the wire from the light bar to the gray center wire on the heavy duty wiring plug. Other than that the bar plugs into the standard 4 pin plug. I noticed that with my bar (APC) they have the 3m tape on small bars that are screwed to the light bar. This will allow someone to remove the light bar to access the spare tire hole.

Had mine since April and just got around to debadging it yesterday, used fishing line, wife blow dryer & goo gone. Wasn't really all that bad to do either. Only badges that I left on the truck were the limited badges on the rear doors & the 4X4 badge on the tailgate. I kind of like the way they look and there really not that big either.I found that the Tundra Gloves that Toyota sent worked great for rubbing off the adhesive and no scratches either.

Did you guys just use the hair dryer to remove the big TRD sticker on the box?? I am not so concerned about removing badges but I have had stickers remove paint on other vehicles.

Let me know.

Thanks!

For the 5.7 emblems i used the wifes blow dryer, It made it more diffucult to remove the glue afterwords, however i was doing in at night. for the rest I did not use the blow dryer and they came off fine. The only badges i have left is the SR5 ones on the cab.

Nahh your fine with the paint the big 5.7 badge is one of the easiest..It's only really glued around the edges and most of the glue comes right off with your finger...The paint it fine. My hair dryer or heat gun was the sun just let it sit in the sun & it all came off pretty easy..

tundralamx,

It would be a correct statement if you are still in the warm SOCAL location, but mine were a PITA. I also removed the TRD stickers and it looks so much better.

Not the 5.7 badge but the big TRD sticker on the rear of the box. Not much sun up here right now. It is 18 degrees at the moment.

No... but I have been to Prudhoe Bay, which is north of the arctic circle, a few times. My dad lived in Fairbanks for 4 years so I have been to Alaska a several times. Drove up there twice from Montana when it was mostly gravel highway.......long ass drive.

How'd you peel the sticker off. Just fingernail or did you have to heat it up then use the fishing line? Sorry for the dumb questions.

Ok sorry was up all night had to go to the police station..Someone tried to get into my truck through the back sliding window & broke the left side..Luckly my alarm went off & they bolted...So i am putting in the solid panel glass tried of people trying to pry there way in...Yes i am in SOCAL & it was about 60 out..Been away from the north eastcoast for 12yrs forget there are seasons..Like i said for me just the heat from the sun softend up the glue enough to run the line right through all the badges. Then mostly just rubbed the rest of the glue of with my finger & anything else with goo gone.

For the TRD Stickers, just park it in the sun and I used my finger nails took about 10 min each side. Then when your done you can use 3m hand galze 3200 grit or higher to remove any sign that they were even there.

Codiac, To get to Shemya, get on a plane (military only base is now closed) from anchorage and fly 1550 miles due west, you will be on the second to the last island in the alutian island chain. Two miles wide and four miles long, there was a woman behind every tree. One last note NO trees.
