Yeah that's the only downside...)I'm doin vinyls on my headlights for that reason)...and if you mess up on one you gotta sand it all the way down and start over. Trying to match em is pretty hard its easier to do both at the same time.

why would you need to remove the tint from the tail lights?
i recently found out when a cop writes you a ticket for tinted tail lights, its not a fix it ticket. its a $100 (approx) fine, you just pay and thats it. I had the vinyls pictured .. and theyre actually off getting painted at the moment instead

I've never been hassled for mine on my jeep...TX or AK, but there's always that one cop. The law that I've always read says that as long as the reflective properties of the lights are not affected there is no rule against tinting or covering your lights. I'm tinting mine this weekend!! Hope I don't mess em up...I did good on the last ones.

yea .. you are correct on the reflectors .. but it doesnt take much to remove the reflectors.
when i went to have the ticket signed off .. cop almost wrote me up for front window tint, no mud flaps and HID's
