I wasn't sure because the manual says 2007 Tundra w/JBL or navigation system. So I called the number on the manual for Scosche tech support. (800-621-3695 ext. 3). They said it will work with or without JBL.

Do you know where it plugs in on the back of my stock head unit?
also this is a random question but did you ever end up buying those AMP Research Steps from that guy on craigslist?

It plugs in where you would normally plug in the SAT receiver on the back the radio. If you follow the product link above there is a link to the instructions on that page. In my case, I already have the SAT receiver under the driver seat and it plugs inline between the cable from the radio and the SAT receiver.

I'm still waiting to hear back from the guy about the steps. He told me that he would be taking them off sometime last week and would contact me about meeting up, but I'm still waiting. I've sent him another email in the meantime.
