I have the non crome grill (flat black). I installed a crome grill. This one can be preped and painted to any color you want it to be. Absolutly no damage at all.

k question. now i remember why i didn't get it from sparcks. notice the picture below:

thats for "black"

is it just the center black thing, or the blue surround too? i want the whole grill in black. thats why i didn't get it from sparks.

No its the surround, thats just a stock photo.

but no worries, as long as you get the one labeled "black" .. it will be the surround part
