Starting to look at the different portable units since We got 3 cars. Don't need or want a bunch of features, so I can get a cheap one. The Tom Tom One got a "best buy" rating as did the Garmins Nuvi 260 & 350.

Any feedback from you guys that have one?

Also, my boat website is down, so I ask, will these work in a boat too? I doubt that the water maps are loaded in these, but I just boat in inland like around Oh, Ky and Tn. Whaddya think? Will this help my ass on Lake Cumberland, lost and in the dark, or do I use my Lewis & Clark dead reckoning skills?
