I had the same problem. 2 different dealerships and a total of 3 times bringing in for the "slack" in the drivetrain. Finally, I was able to strongarm the regional service manager, who was fully prepared to do nothing, to swap the driveshaft with one of the new trucks on the lot. He assured me that this would not fix the problem but would do it just to show me that there was nothing wrong with the driveshaft. Driveshaft swapped, problem solved. If you have this problem, insist that they change the driveshaft. If you need backup send me a private message and I will give you the dealership name and date that all of this went down. I am sick and tired of Toyota sending us away with the "there is no defect so there is nothing we can do" bullcrap.
