I've never really looked too close at how much room there is right where our gay looking snake like shorty headers hook up to the exhaust pipe.but if there is enough room right there would be better than the rear mounted behind the cat hookup's.Turbo lag is a bad thing, not to mention as the further away from from the main source of air flow, there will be a small problem of spool time.Add all that up with this damn defueling between shift points and the turbo lag time will not be worth the effort.
Plus what about an inter cooler to to help condense and cool the charge before intering the TB.That's good for 15/50 HP depending on how much psi you run.
All those long boost tubes are prone to boost leaks and the farther you have to push the air the more pressure you will lose.
If maybe you could use a 4 to 1 header that came up to the upper front of the engine heads and use two smaller turbos both directed into a front mounted IC then spool time would be instant and the smaller turbos would be in a position to gain incoming air for extra cooling, orrrrrrrrr run both exhaust into a bigger turbo and straight into the IC and right onto the TB.
What do you plan on doing about the extra fuel you will need as the boost rises.Accel makes one heck of a good rising rate FPP,or you will have to put in a little larger injectors as to not lean out the engine at higher rpm or a sustained long distance hammer down.
There are a lot of problems with having balanced exhaust pressures from both banks. My last turbo car had a big turbo going through a FMIC and exiting out through a 5" down pipe and a true 5" exhaust system, including the cat which was for appearances only.Straight flush,if you know what I mean.
Good luck with your product, hope it works out for you.
