Once again...that's American pricing. It's not the same up here. There's never any "reason" given as to why the prices are higher, but they just are. As for the warranty stuff, it's like that with all the manufacturer's not just Toyota. So, the tradeoff for purchasing from any manufacturer is buying in Canada for a higher price, with warranty, or buying cheaper in the US with no warranty...
