However, they're great for everything I've thrown at them. I will be able to see how they do in the snow next X-mas. No matter what, you pretty much have to go slow on ice.
I think the possibility the stock tires are so bad in the snow is because we have 401 lb ft of torque to get this beast moving. Not a lot is going to solve that. My old Bridgestones were SO bad that I drove my Expedition in the winter with old tires with like 40K miles on them. Never had a problem in that car in 2wd or A4WD.

Balancing can be a common problem with these. I have dealt with it myself. Took the truck to a different shop and they took one of the tires and put it on a different rim. Sounds silly but it worked. No problems after that. Another guy I work with had loads of problems balancing these tires on his Ford F-150.
