Admittedly.... I thoroughly enjoy my 08 tundra,,,,,and have had good service from the 10 or so differing Toyota's that I owned at one time or another.
,But for a DD in Africa I'd jump all over a Defender 110 TDi.
Figure getting the tundra serviced in Africa would be liken me trying to get the series serviced here in the states.
