Mickey,
Either I didn't write it correct or you mis understood my post. I test drove my truck at Acton and had no problem doing it. Walked in and Bill handed me the keys and said come back when your done. He had the truck sitting out front, helped me put the baby seats in the truck and off we went. No milage limit or time frame to return. No issue what so ever.
I was just pointing out, that once you buy the truck and you live outside of Mass, that you don't get a temp tag from the Mass. dealer. You have to take the paperwork to your DMV and then return to the dealership with your tags and then you can take the truck home. Just wanted to let other out of state buyers know what to expect if you buy from a dealer in Mass. For me it was not an issue, I live an hour north in New Hampshire but I saved over $4000. You have to price out your time and travel and see if you are saving money. As the gas prices climb it may not be a good deal if your only saving a few hundred dollars.
I emailed and called Boch toyota, and got the run around.
Acton Toyota earned my business and gave me a great buying exprience.
I would never buy something that I didn't test drive first.
