So you don't use the tow/haul mode at all times? Maybe it works different in the Tundra. I use it in my Silverado when pulling any load. I hit the button and it shifts different, holds higher RPM before shifting up to next gear. When I hit an upward slope, it slightly increases RPM and does not downshift to the lower gear as would a truck without Tow/Haul. Is there an advantage to not have it activated at all times? When Im cruising at highway speeds, the truck runs the same as it would anytime, unless a slope or something of the such. I have an old clunking 4 speed tranny though, maybe it is different with the Tundra's 6 speed.
