Hello. New owner here, just picked up an 08 Double Cab 4x4 5.7ltr 2 days ago. It is replacing an 01 Ford Excursion V10. I have a 32 foot TT that weighs in around 9000 lbs, hitch weight around 1000lbs. I have a weight distribution system and anti-sway camber system on the TT. I had to upgrade my Ex with helper springs, adjustable Rancho Shocks, and even added some Radius Rods to help prevent spring wrap. I also have the Prodigy Brake Controller. I plan on towing this camper several times this summer and am concerned that the Tundra will sag in the rear and I will need to add helper springs to it as I did on the Ex. Anybody have to add helpers or will the Tundra do OK with the weight distribution? I'm not concerned about power, this Tundra 5.7 has 70 more horses than that Ex did with the V10 - I used to average about 6-8mpgs towing that camper, depending on speed and hills. It pulled great, but did wander a bit.
Thanx for any info/advice.
