4x4 damage when turning on dry pavement -- I need to engage 4wd to pull the trailer out of my backyard during the wet season (yes we have one, just very short). A few times I was in 4wd before getting the truck straight, and turned on the pavement. Heard some tire scrubbing (just a bit). I'm not too worried about it, because it was slow speed and only done a few times. Now, I make sure I've already got the truck straightened out before tapping 4wd.... I've used 4wd a lot offroad, since this and everything seems good!
