Try a bug sponge (not very expensive). These sponges look worse then they are. Soak the sponge in your bucket of soapy water until it is soft then rub the bugs off, use it gently and go over the bugs a few times. Make sure you keep it well foamed up. The soap will act as a lubricant for the sponge. Bug sponges are awesome you can use them for removing just about anything stuck the paint. I gave one to a neighbor kid to remove the glue from vinyl lettering with a mild solvent (came out beautiful). They can even be used to shampoo the interior carpet and seats. hope this helps
