I ended up taking the truck to the dealer and was told that Toyota put out a PART NOTICE MEMO on this, NOT A RECALL THOUGH
. I was explained the the stock lock assembly and TSB laches are malfunctioning and need replacement. So I'm getting them fixed tommorrow.
