I am not saying AEM is BAD, i never once its its BAD, just why would you go that route instead of a better made product?

You can't just appreciate a company because you understand what it takes to make a CAI, in that case you should have the same exact appreciation for every company out there. Not to mention you contradict yourself by saying you know what goes into making one, yet everyone realized you could "slap a filter on a tube and call it their own."
My view on AEM is not by any means ignorant. Don't be mad cause your company installs lower end intakes, its really not a big deal.
But when i present proof of a company who has both good and bad to say about AEM, and you dont appreciate the bad, dont get all pissy. AEM will do its job, while using cheap thin less-durable products than the competition.

I doubt OEM tuners would choose a product that wasn't top quality if they are going to back it up with a warranty from the factory.
If you look around there are LOTS of companies that are willing to send a product to someone, or have someone come to their facility to have a product installed FOR FREE to do some testing on it.... that really means they are a GOOD company trying to get REAL WORLD results. So you know, magnaflow, volant, and others are currently looking for vehicles to receive free products.... sorry you can't understand that.
I do have the appreciation for them based on the products they make...and I have the same appreciation for any company that makes a quality product. however, what i was saying is that once everyone saw how to make a CAI (based off AEM) then, they just took a tube and slapped a filter on it.... there was no contradiction in my statement, you just misunderstood.
My company installs and sells anything a customer wants as long it is something I feel is a quality product. AEM, K&N, AFE....etc. are all quality and I would have no problem going with any of their products if my customer felt better about the name or the product for some reason.
and you keep bashing AEM's product based on ONE website. I get pissy because alot of times on forums people get ONE opinion that they take to be the be all end all, when that one person's opinion is only based of off one other opinion they read on the internet. I want people to be informed...PERIOD.
Now, I choose to not argue anymore, and you may go on and contradict anything else you want. I've stated all my points, and people will draw from it whatever they want. The fact that we've argued this so much will likely put people off more about the two of us than any product.
