Well I had a similar dilemma when looking to buy one of these trucks. I loved the spacious crew max and loved the sporty look of the double cab. In the end I rationalized by asking myself how many times I would be riding in the back of MY truck, and how many times I would carry passengers that would require the extra room. Well it was maybe once or twice a year and my passengers can put up with lesser room. Plus the bigger bed is more useful than the smaller one.
