Other options I'm considering include 3/4 ton from Ford or Chevy. I have an F150, but don't think it is enough truck with the 4.6L and 3.53 gears.

1. Does anyone have experience pulling this type of load long distances and what is experience?

2. What kind of mileage does this truck get unloaded? EPA says 13-17. Is this accurate.

Thanks for any comments.

Tows better than my 8.1L GM 3/4 ton gas engine does! some members on this forum report up to 20mpg...I think the epa numbers are pretty average.
