Picked up my 08 Tundra CM LTD about 3 weeks ago and have been stalking this board since w/o posting. Just havent had the time. So, just wanted to say Hi. I have found this forum to be very informative, interesting and fun. This will be my 3rd Toyota. First one a small 4x4 SR5 Pickup in the 80's ~240,000 miles, Second one, another small 4x4 SR5 pickup in the 90's ~225,000miles. In 1999, I decided I wanted to go to a bigger truck. At the time the Tundra had not been introduced yet and the larger Tacoma was in its first year so went with a Ford F-150 Lariat Step Side. Can't complain about the Ford. She gave me 9 years and 280,000 + miles of no problem service. A few months ago I realized that the old girl, while still running well was ready for retirement and I started researching all large pickups. After a lot of research I narrowed it down between another Ford F-150 King Ranch and the Tundra CM LTD. When all was said and done the Tundra won hands down. So far am very happy with my choice and am looking forward to many years and miles with the new girl in town. Have not done any performance mods (and probably wont for awhile-except for possibly the K&N Cold Air Intake) I have installed the front bug shield, the 4 window visors and a EXTANG tri-fold Solid cover. Currently, I am trying to digest all of the information in regards to the DVD Navigation System.
