New Tundra owner in Savannah
Not much more than a week ago, on the way home from visiting my dad in Augusta, I lost control of my '02 Tacoma on the metal grate of the drawbridge over the ICW just east of Savannah, Georgia. It had been raining and I was very tired. The truck was a total loss yet I only suffered a minor concussion and some pretty deep cuts and abrasions on my left arm. I do not have any memory of the accident but religious belief aside, that truck saved my life.
The decision to buy a Tundra, with gas prices what they are, was not an easy one. I loved the Tacoma but wanted a bit more truck and a bit more towing capability. Boy oh boy did I get more than I expected.
I got an '08 Double Cab, Limited, etc. and the excitment has been growing ever since I got it home.
But then everyone here on this forum knows this incredible feeling. I have not felt this way about a vehicle since my first new car, a '73 mustang that I got for about the same price as the sales tax I paid on this one!
Great to be here!
