I had an 04 Chevy Duramax stolen a few yaers ago, right out of my driveway while i slept 10 feet away from it. the cops said they get the vin # from the dash which is visable from the outside of the truck prior to stealing it and usually have a friend (thief) that works at the dealer who can get them a key and poof your truck is gone....
