Mickey I understand your fustrated but calling me kid isnt proving anything. You bought a Ford and GM and had problems with both of them. Then went back and bought another. How smart is that. Wanna buy a ATV?? Dont go away with your feelings hurt, I appolgize I didnt know you where that ignorant. So you rip a boat out of the water what does that prove. A Ridgeline, Dakota or even a Wrangler can do that. WOW im impressed! How about you put a 39ft toyhauler behind it. Thats only 14356lbs without 3 quads. Theres only alittle above 2500lbs on the hitch. Then I will be impressed. Thats what a 3/4 and 1 ton are for. If you where looking for a somthing fast theres was the SRT10, Lightning/Harley and Deneli. They will still tow your boat. 08MAXC hows the sky look when you put a good amount of weight in your bed?? Good thing you have the front sensors. My wife likes that feature. So about Consumer Reports I didnt write it consumers did. What full size trucks received the "RECOMMEND" status. Heres a clue, it was not the Tundra. So why hasnt J.D. Power even rated it yet?? Man you guys need to do your research before you just put it out there, the Tundra is NOT the safest. Nice try, look it up. So if the Tundra is so much better than a 3/4 why did they only put LIGHT TRUCK tires on it?? If Toyota made more than 174,000 trucks they probably would have alot more recalls. Thats only about 1/4 of what one domestic makes. But hey my drive shaft is not falling out. How's all those issue's everyone is having, I feel for you? You all can continue to whine and make whitty comebacks but wheres the FACTS???
Well Denutto...I think Im done with ya. I will end our "misunderstanding" (because your logic and pace with the arguement keep steering off course) with this: Im not all huffy and really care less but I say this to my 3 and 6 year old and Ill say it to you....calling names is not nice (nor mature and the sign of a weak intellect). I dont mean to be insulting but it is what it is. You once again mistakinly made the assumptions of an argument of tundra v. 3/4 ton trucks however I limit my comments only to the 3/4 ton truck I have owned. When pulling the boats Im sure all those vehicles you listed could pull my boat out of the water...but not as easily as the tundra (and no I dont see sky as the truck can more than handle the tougue weight...heck Ill bet I could hook up 1000 cats and dogs to pull it but its gonna be a struggle. If you want to talk fast look at youtube srt10 vs tundra. the dodge is faster (of coarse) but surprisingly not by much. And im sure the srt, lightening, and denali can tow the boat (my denali does just fine) but then again I never made that arguement. With regard to the tires being light duty....ah....its a a 1/2 ton truck? Same rating of tire a had on my 01 silverado 1/2 ton. So all we are saying is the tundra is an overbuilt 1/2 truck which in my experience with 1 truck rivals the 3/4 ton benefit for that 1 TRUCK IN MY EXPERIENCE.

A Tundra can pull your 39 ft toy hauler too....could it do it like an F450...hell no...would I use it to tow 14k+ lbs...no...its not rated for it...I would use a 3/4 ton...likely GM for me. I have my facts from manufacturers brochures, experience, and Motor Trend. I dont even read consumer reports. And by the way i havent had the issues you are referring to in my 2008 (2nd year of production) so maybe I got a lemon. Nuff said, have a good day.
