Well they say there's one in every crowd. So here it is.

Take any type of hot rod engine. What makes them have more horse power???????? More air in and more air out.the faster it comes in and the faster it goes out produces more HP.

Started off a long time ago.Volicity stacks,red ram on the dodges.hemi charger,hilborn ram tube injection,carb spacers,turbo chargers,supercharger.

You mean after all these years of trial and error by the best engine builders in the business that none of this helps?????????????????????Look at the pro stock cars with there 12 inch tall ram induction running twin 1050.At 10 grand those intakes will suck the feathers ofen Gramp's turkey at 100 yards.

I have to disagree. All these engine builders cannot be wrong, the more air in,the faster you get that air in and the faster it gets out the tail pipes the more power and toruqe you get.

Call Lee Hurley or Chuck McBryer at Hesco and ask them what a CNC billit aluminun 2"TBS did to their 4.7 stroker motor. That was dyno proven and they have the charts to prove it.Don't quote this paper weight business unless you really know the source. My prototype TBS gave me 10 more dyno proven HP.

I won't give my name out on this channel, but if you chose to call them and Bennie answers the phone tell him it's coming from the guy that lived in Louisville,Ky,had his offroad TJ at Moab Offroad and they flew the company airplane from Birmingham,Al to L'Ville to help in the startup process.

I don't know much about this 5.7 engine we have.Maybe a TBS is no good, but then on the other hand if it increases air flow velocity then why would it not be a good thing. If improving air flow to this engine does not help it then why is all this talk about CAI,and loud pipes coming out the rear One thing I do know if this ECU cannot be broken into as some say and it is set in it's OEM mode then increasing air flow will make it run lean at a higher rpm and may do harm to your engine.

Someone running improved air flow needs to makes about a mile long bonzi run, shut they engine off so as not to corrupt the electrodes and do a plug read.White means too hot, light brown haze right on the money, black, too rich.

Well I'm off my soap box and looking forward to my 8/71 Weiand SC to,ahhhhhh, all I know,INCREASE AIRFLOW.Reason behind a 8/71 over the 6/71 is moving a greater volume of air at the same rpms.
