jpnca,
The truck handles and rides great. It never bottomed out on the snubbers or felt unstable even in 35 mile per hour head and cross winds. The rear end drops down about three inches, but still looks good. The next time that I mount it I will post some pictures. I used to haul it on a Chevy Silverado 1500with Firestone air bags installed. I'm going to put Firestone bags on the Toyota to level it up and also because I will be hauling my 5000 lb boat and trailer along with the camper this summer. The additional 500 lbs of weight on the hitch will drop the rear end down too much. The "Suspension Connection" has them for $269.
Toyota Tundra Firestone Air Bags 2007-2008 - Suspension Air Bag Helper Springs One last note, the sides of the box on the Toyota are higher that on the Chevy, so my camper bottom didn't reach bed. I built a simple 2x4 frame 8 feet long which I slide in first, lower the camper onto it, fasten down the camper turnbuckles and I'm good to go. Works like a charm.
